EU-ACP Cooperation with a case study on Haiti

This thesis focuses on cooperation of the European Union with the African, Carribean and Pacific Group of States. Its aim is to describe the relations in a complex way and to record the changes that are connected with the evolution of cooperation. Attention is also paid to conditionality of cooperation. Introductory part describes EU development cooperation and humanitarian aid. Historical evolution of EU-ACP cooperation follows together with the details on the Cotonou Agreement. Last part is the case study on Haiti.
WTO disputes concerning EU regime for import of bananas

This theses deal with trade disputes in WTO known as "banana wars" between the European Union, the United States and some Latin American countries. These disputes are viewed in terms of changes to the EU banana import regime. In this context, the work also deals with the relationship of the EU and ACP countries. It also examines the world market in bananas before and after the conclusion of these disputes at the WTO.
Developement Aspects of Trade Liberalization : EU-ACP Relations

The thesis deals with the trade liberalization among unequally developed partners and its development issues. At global level it refers to WTO development agenda, however, at regional level it focuses on north-south trade agreements, particularly on EU-ACP relations. The aim of the thesis is to analyze these relations and the way and scope of how they have contributed to economic growth and welfare of ACP states considering both static and dynamic effects. It also evaluates opportunities and threads of Economic Partnership Agreements.
